For the 20th anniversary of Totem we presented in February and early March a series of concerts as well as an installation during the Montreal/New Music Festival (MNM). We had some magical moments and here is a look back at our various events!
First of all, we would like to thank everyone who followed and participated in the contest. This first edition was a great challenge for the whole team and we are happy to have seen so much enthusiasm from both the jury and the participants!

We are delighted to unveil the new Totem Digital section, a space where visuals will be at the forefront and where it will be possible to discover the world of Totem in a vast selection of unique videos.

We are currently working on a Siren Organ version of Exploratory a recent work (2019) by artist Phill Niblock that will be presented in October! It's going to be a busy summer of sound recording and music!
Our artistic director and performer Jean-François Laporte will present five works from the PTC repertoire including two new creations in a Totem Électrique concert at Phipps Hall at the University of Huddersfield.
Productions Totem contemporain and Le Vivier invite you on November 21st to the Totem Électrique XIV concert, which will take place in person at 7 pm at the Espace Bleu of the Wilder building in Montreal.
At Totem’s, fall begins with an artistic season rich with projects and variety. Last September, the grand spectacle Rythmopolis shook Montreal’s Place des Arts with three nights of daring contemporary music.
