LAPORTE – LAUDANTE — Total Improvisation for Pneumatic Instruments and Feedback
Third and final Italian date of the Laporte / Laudante duo. Following concerts in Canada and the United Kingdom, Neapolitan composer Andrea Laudante and Québécois instrument inventor Jean-François Laporte reunite for a session of radical improvisation as part of the To[ward]ListenTo series. Laporte's pneumatic lutherie meets Laudante's electronic devices and feedback in a performance of high kinetic energy: a dialogue of muscular gesture and dense textures, born of pure artistic compenetration.
