Suelo Rojo
Suelo rojo is a work for Organ of Sirens whose inspiration is rooted in the vision of the physical presence of the body sustained by breath. During the composition process, there was a recurring reflection on time that passes, that crumbles, and that marks our body.
Thanks go to Jean Francois Laporte for the sonic explorations, Julie Delisle for her magnificent improvisations on the transverse flute and piccolo that brought the composition to life, and also to Diane Daher for her voice and breath which were the sonic genesis of the work, as well as, as always, her attentive listening!
