The Totem Electroacoustic Contest has been officially launched and it is now possible to register and participate. We have recorded and organized the classification of a unique sound bank that contains more than 1200 sounds exploring new sonic territories from the invented instruments of Totem Contemporary Productions. The composers registered for the contest will have access to these sounds in high definition (24 bits/96 kHz) in order to compose an original work. Several cash prizes, residencies, commissions, CD publishing and concert performances will be offered to the finalists of the contest.

We encourage you to share the announcement of this contest with all the artists in your community who have an interest in composition and sound experimentation. This is a unique opportunity to work with original sounds produced by unusual instruments, to discover unheard-of sounds and for composers to make their creations known internationally.
