After years of dreaming up this collaboration, Jean-François Laporte and Jeffrey Stonehouse have finally made it a reality. The Paramirabo collective and the Babel Table (an instrument invented by Productions Totem Contemporain) merge their sound worlds to give life to a unique concert, blending contemporary music and sonic innovation.
On the program: original works by Julie Delisle, Geneviève Ackerman, Corie Rose-Soumah, Zosha Di Castri and Katherine Young - five female composers who explore the boundaries of sound with audacity and finesse.
Join us on Friday, April 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the MMR room at CIRMMT for this extraordinary musical experience, where traditional instruments enter into dialogue with unique lutherie.
