Totem on tour in Europe!

Our performer and artistic director Jean-François Laporte is currently on tour in Europe! He will be presenting works from the PTC repertoire at concerts and giving workshops on his instruments!
After a workshop with the Cassidy/Williamson composition class at the Hannover University of Music in November 2023, Jean-François Laporte returns to Hannover in May. At a concert on May 27 at the Kestner Gesellschaft, he will present to the public for the first time the works newly composed by the students for him and for the Babel Table instrument.
Then, from June 7 to June 9, he'll be in Naples to lead an original workshop followed by a concert. Participants will be guided through the making of invented instruments, right up to their use in the concert. They will have the opportunity to present the instruments they have built and discuss the interpretation of three pieces by our artistic director. He will present the works Waves, Vortex and Rituel.
