The title Enracinements refers to the treadmill imposed by the pandemic. This treading ground, far from being static, is the place of tensions and slowness, of chaos and suspension. The rooting is also thought as a horizontal movement, like a rhizome, to reach the other. I conceived this piece in the idea of an improvisation for two where tensions and slowness try to meet, but are not necessarily experienced at the same time.

The piece was premiered at the Wilder Blue Space on June 10, 2021 during the Totem Electric XIII concert.
