Corps de brume is a musical work composed for siren organ, electroacoustic tape part and live electronics.
Essentially inspired by the tone of the instrument and its incessant breath, this piece aims at creating a contradictory state of mind: stationary, hypnotic and hazy but also progressive, bright and clear. Corps de brume calls for the wild, the great chase, the search for that transcendent state which carries the mind beyond itself. Many thanks to the Canada Council for the Arts, Jean-François Laporte, and Marie-Chantal Leclair. - L. Katcho
The audiovisual version of Corps de brume was performed at the Wilder's Espace Bleu on November 19, 2021. It is interpreted by Émilie Girard-Charest.
